What is power flux and how is it calculated for different salts?
The power flux is the ability of salt to release heat. The higher values for power flux the quicker the salt can release energy.
Power flux for the different salts is changed by several factors; the density, level of expansion, delta T and refrigerant used are the most important. For the salts we have tested and the recipes we consider to be the most stable, the flux is based on tests at reference conditions. For the ones we haven't tested there are estimations based on theory.
